I wonder if Stephan Pastis is going to sue me for this...
Anyway, the 'croc jr. and zebra jr.' strip has been going on for afew days. While it's damn funny just to see how croc jr.'s parents are telling croc jr. not to date a zebra cos they are food, doesn't it remind one of the typical scenario in our asian society?
Never mind if it's just about mismatch of 'species' (or in our society's case, mismatch of race, status, or even position in the 'eco system').
Not to mention, the conservative thought that kids should not 'pak tor' at a young age.
Oh well... It's a shitty world out there.

Bro, its more of a caste bias system than anything else.... the lower caste has always been despised and looked/frown upon as dirt...

hmmm...it's not really about caste leh, jf...
i mean, in the strip they use a croc (predator) and a zebra (its prey). It's more of the hierarchy in the ecosystem.
To compare that to the caste system, it's not really wrong...but eh... u dun haf ppl from the upper caste eating those frm the lower caste leh.
