Pets, Ice Creams, Games & Soccer

Now for the update on yesterday...

Was at Serangoon Garden to buy lunch since someone needs to go Standard Chartered Bank & I had to be the 'Ahmad'.
Then hor, we went over to this pet shop.. and guess what...


Bunnies!! But only this 1 left and it's $80... Local breed somemore... =*(

Then we took a look at the dogs....
There's many dogs there, like...

Jack Russell,


Drunken French Bull Terrier that sleeps on its back,
and many others like bulldog, hush puppies and whatsoever.
Got chihuahua oso!!

Anyway, highlights of the day are on... Pitstop Cafe...
Back then in Mar/Apr, we received a post by Cowboy Caleb about the email he received from Pitstop about invitation for free ice cream & games at their place.

Of cos, several rounds of discussions took place, but nothing materialised...
Eventually, some of us ice cream renegades decided to take up arms (in the form of fork & spoon) & organise an outing there...

Pitstop Cafe sounds like a cafe/bar that endorses or supports F1 racing and stuff, since Pitstop is actually a term used in F1 to refer to stopping in the pit for tyre change..
(Ferrari not included, BLEAH to Joel for that.)

Rather, it's a nice cosy place that is somewhat similar to Settlers' & Oasis, with free boardgames for playing and stuff.
Not that I've been to any of those places I mentioned above...

Anyway it's located at 14B Circular Rd, and if you can't find the place (cos the whole damn street's filled with KTV pubs), go to the junction of Circular Rd & Lor Telok where Waiting Bar is, lift your dense head up, & TA-DA!

Of cos, the stairway's alittle threatening but nah, it won't kill you lah...

Anyway fast forward abit, we're all hungry and ordering our food...

Pitstop offers several packages, like a gaming package including a main course, a drink , soup & 2 hrs of games for $12.90.
Or if you're not eating, there's a drink + triple scoop sundae + 2 hrs games for $10 also.
And the likes. You gotta see for yourself...

Now coming to the icecream...

There's the following flavours available, as stated on board...
My personal favourite would be Caramel, though Mango Passionfruit is a must-try... Really nice!!
So is Fruit of the Forest...

Anyway, dinner was served, and it looks good...

I had a steak main course, which was pretty good though serving was alittle small I think.
Not that I'm on form that day for food, since had gastric... Sorry folks about that.
Anyway it's relatively cheap lah, so size doesn't matter here k? =)

There's also the Fried Dory Fish & Chips & some other main course that tasted very nice, as well as Mom's special, which varies usually since 'Mom' only come on Fri & weekends.
So for yesterday, it was Stingray or spring chicken I think. Can't remember...

Anyway after dinner, we started on our 1st game.
Deciding that for a Fri we should have something light, we play this silly game called Mad.

The objective of the game is to lose all your $$, which I eventually didn't but end up with the most $$ since I behaved like an idiot...

It's lasted for quite awhile, and...
Ta-Da, here comes the icecream...

It was nice of them to extend the free treat to us, even though it expired back then donkey years in March.
Of cos, we were soooooo engrossed with the game that it eventually melted, but hey it still taste nice + we went for 2nds. =P

Anyway back to games, we had this funny animal game which you're supposed to call out the sound of the animal which represent the other guy if his & your card is the same.

Pretty easy game for starters...

We played Imaginiff and some other funny games that got us all laughing and stuff...
There's also this bidding game which us guys did really badly cos tio undercut by the gals.
(HEY! Accountants DUN EAT $$ K?!?! REMEMBER! PRISON GOT NO ATM!!)

Anyway, lots of thanks to u folks at Pitstop for making our stay a memorable & nice 1.
Hopefully, I'll consider there for my 21st, though I still want my Absolut party...

Well after all these was soccer, and we all know the scores and odds, so ain't gonna go into that.
Anyway it was a tiring day, but fun too!!! =)
