Uni-Y Camp
It's been afew days since I was away.A camp, tons of activities, lots of new friends made, and even self-reflection and many other things done over this 4D3N camp..
In fact, some of them might be potential buddies, as mentioned earlier here.
(not that I really need any to share an umbrella or sth...)
It's been a nice 4D3N, not too overwhelming, yet not too slack.
The 1st day was boring as usual, with lots of admin stuff and boring talks, though the games at night was the 1st step towards ice breaking...
For someone like me who's not good with names, it's been a traumatising 4 days trying to memorise names but of cos, thankfully I managed eventually... =P
2nd day was spent at All Saints nursing home with the old folks, and it's been quite an eye-opener as it is completely different from an old folks home. Nevertheless, interaction time and stuff was really quality time well spent, though sometimes language barrier hinders us from making greater progress...
(of cos, not mentioning Ah Yee Jie Yi & her hokkien jokes abt me...*GRRRR*)
But the night games were the ultimate though, for we did really well in most stations... =)
3rd day was alittle crap though, since we have to go back for OCS talk, and it was a crappy thing. The afternoon part was spent back at the home though and it was really nice cos most of the old folks were opening up to us volunteers and there's even this Ah Ma who sings for all of us... So Sweet! =)
Of cos, not forgetting all the camwhoring the 4 sisters did using my N70...
I think I need to take my fone for servicing soon...
For the night we're back at SMU for stay and for this monster game which had us running all over the place, fighting monsters to learn skills and challenging others to get points.
In short, a hybrid of Final Fantasy, Megaman and Pokemon. Too bad it's abit short though.
Supper at the prata shop was great, but doesn't go well with beer. Especially bitter stuff like Stella. Shall remind myself to drink less given my current liver status.
And the night? Sharing and crapping about all sorts of things, and it was great as we get to hear about other's views...
Anyway for the final day we missed the last game cos of SoA acad briefing, even though we are in the lead for the game.
But the shocking thing was, we actually won even though we didn't play the final game...
And that was really shocking by itself...
Oh well...
Well that's pretty much about all...
Fotos are with someone else, so I have to wait for them to send the fotos then I can upload them...
But meanwhile... more camps! so gotta slack 1st... =P
